As the end of the 2019 regional series is fast approaching, banquet planning is underway. However due to fewer cars racing this year than previously and other factors, we have less money in the banquet budget than before. We will need your help to make sure the banquet is a great experience for our kids!
All banquet details are posted on the 2019 Banquet page and the registration is now open! The online banquet registration will close October 6, 2019, but please register as soon as possible to help with planning for food and seating. You will also be able to pay for your trophy sponsorship or any other donations on the banquet registration form, even if you are not planning to attend the banquet.
We need trophy sponsors at $200 per class for the following classes:
If you would like to sponsor a class or classes, contact Stephanie Loden (sloden29@gmail.com or 704-361-4010) as soon as possible. We plan to have a little something for all rookie drivers in attendance at the banquet. The deadline for trophy sponsorships is October 1, 2019.
If this is your driver’s last season of racing in the Dixie Shootout series, please contact Andrea Thomas (andreathomasnc@yahoo.com or 704-604-3960) to let her know so that we can recognize your driver during the banquet. The deadline for retiring drivers is October 1, 2019.
Angela Jones will be in charge of decorating for the banquet. If you would like donate money/décor or help decorate, please contact her at angela@jonesandsonsnc.com or 980-329-6085 (please text rather than calling).
Brandy Scott will be managing our “Silent Auction” at the banquet to help cover the banquet costs. We are in need of donations of individual larger items and/or items made into baskets for this. If you are able to donate items or put together a basket, please let her know (text or call 828-310-5176).
We would also like to be able to offer door prizes for our drivers. If you are able to donate money or smaller items to be used for this, please contact Terry Brewer (tbrewer0505@gmail.com or 276-724-0453).
If you would like to donate money towards the general banquet cost or help in any other way, please let Andrea Thomas know (andreathomasnc@yahoo.com or 704-604-3960).
Thank you in advance for your help to make the banquet a fun and successful event for our racing families!
