Music City Quarter Midget Association Preparing for Regional Event

The Music City Quarter Midget Association is getting ready for regional event.  The first race of the Dixie Shootout Series will take place on Saturday, March 14th in Hermitage, TN, just outside of Nashville.  The schedule has been released and information on gas, parking, hotel discounts, and more can be found on the detailed event page.  Take a look at the details, then visit mcqmra.com to register for your spot in what is sure to be a phenomenal kick-off to the 2015 season.

MAQMA to Host Dash for Cash on February 28th

Are you ready…… Metro Atlanta Quarter Midget Association will be hosting their Dash for Cash event on Saturday, February 28th.  $3150 in prize money will be given away, along with trophies for all classes and for every Rookie participant.

In preparation for this event and the upcoming season, MAQMA will be hosting Rookie practice and training throughout the month of February.  Practices will be held over the next few weekends, with safety stickers and forms on site.  Reach out to Greg Graham, Nick Stenzel, or John Bart of MAQMA for more information.

DIXIE SHOOTOUT SERIES Announces Major Sponsorship for 2015

logoThe southern most Quarter Midget Regional Series sanctioned by the United States Auto Club has obtained a major sponsorship deal with Briggs and Stratton for the 2015 Season. The series is comprised of 8 race events beginning in March and culminating the end of September. The Nashville Club located in Hermitage, TN, the North Carolina Club in Salisbury, NC, and the Metro Atlanta Club in Braselton, GA will each host 2 events, while the Huntsville based Club and the North Georgia Club located in Cumming, GA will each host one event.

“We are incredibly excited to be the series sponsor of the Dixie ShootOut” said David Klaus, Director-Briggs and Stratton Racing. “It allows us an opportunity to thank our Briggs families as well as the entire .25 family of racers with some great giveaways throughout the series and at the year-end banquet. Come be a part of the fun!”

All drivers who participate in the Briggs Classes, Jr Animal, Sr Animal, Pro Animal, Lt World Formula and Hvy World Formula will receive a Briggs Ticket at Sign-In at one of each tracks Regional event. One lucky winner at each track in the series, will leave with a Briggs & Stratton Inverter Generator (valued at $699) to provide additional power in their pit area. In addition, all Dixie ShootOut drivers will be eligible to win one of 5 Briggs Engines (total value of over $3,000) at the end of the year Region Awards Banquet.

The Dixie ShootOut Series car counts doubled in size from 2013-2014. They are building a foundation to create an exciting series of competition and participation for their clubs in the South-East by building a Dixie ShootOut Facebook page (DixieShootOutSeries), a website – DixieShootOut.com and by using the hashtag ‪#‎DixieShootOut2015‬ at each of their events. With the enormous sponsorship package that Briggs Racing has graciously awarded, the series will be able to provide fun events for families, celebrate wins and championships for many drivers, and continue their growth for years to come.
